An Increase in Graduation Rates
Posted on 01/14/2020
Annually, the Post Star posts district graduation rates of the surrounding areas. We are incredibly proud to announce that in 2018, 66 students graduated from FACS. We increased that number by 16% in 2019, with a total of 82 students graduating.
The graduation rate measures the percentage of students who started in the fall of 2015 that graduated in August of last year. It does not include students who took longer than that to graduate.
State officials pointed out the statewide graduation rate has increased by 7.3% in the last decade. Although we understand there are many factors that go in to each student's graduation possibilities, we can't ignore the amount of hard work our teacher and staff go through to educate and prepare our students for the future. Thank you to our teachers and staff, and congratulations to our students who have "crossed the stage"!
