Recently, Jr. High English students participated in the first annual "Living Museum." These students studied the 1930s, a period in time that included the Great Depression and many infamous American gangster crimes from people such as John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Bonnie and Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd, Machine Gun Kelly, and Ma Barker. They then presented their learnings to "museum" visitors by dressing like their subjects and retelling their stories to the visitors.
Students were incredibly engaged during this project and put a lot of time and effort into researching their chosen gangsters. Join us in giving a round of applause to these hard-working students for explaining their subject's stories so well and creatively portraying their role in American history.
